Inspired by decorative arts and graphic design, Katerina aims for simplicity of form and attention to proportion. Her designs tend to explore inherent dualities in shape and form: curviness in linearity, symmetry in asymmetry, softness in hardness, order in chaos. She finds that this tension creates contrast and stronger visual impact.
Katerina designs and creates pieces in silver and gold with accents of gemstones; contemporary in look and feel, tactile and sculptural in form. Some are playful, some more dramatic, all designed to be worn from day to evening.

Katerina is a Greek designer-maker based in London. She has studied mathematics and built a career in marketing before she decided to act on a life-long passion for design.
Having grown up in a family of amateur craft makers, she was encouraged to create from a very young age.
Jewellery featured early on and became the perfect creative outlet, combining inspiration and problem-solving, left and right-brain, the artistic and the engineered.
Katerina is always on the lookout for inspiration and anything with an interesting shape, surface, texture or colour will catch her eye. She is particularly drawn to the decorative arts and crafts, graphic design and architecture. Flowers also make an appearance, when the mood strikes.
